REGISTRATION & DOCUMENTATION PROCESS
Each and every user/rider will have to complete registration & document formalities as a User either through the Website of NILE bike rentals Co. These terms and conditions constitute legally binding agreement made between user/rider & NILE bike rentals Co. Acceptance of the registration is subject to approval by NILE bike rentals Co. at its sole discretion. The website provides the following services like bike rental booking platform.
The user/rider must sign the terms & conditions form at the time of motorcycle pick up from the NILE bike rentals Co. showroom and fill the registration form manually with presenting original valid DL and Aadhaar card and company will keep a copy of DL & Aadhaar card (for the first time users only). The company will provide you user ID number to the rider so they can use the same User ID number for the future booking purpose.
In some case the company may ask you to keep the original DL as a security. This DL returned to you after drop off. We may deny booking in case you fail to produce the documents at the time of pickup. No refund will be given in such a case.

ELIGIBILITY TO RENT A BIKE

- Rider needs to be 19 years of age or older and having a Indian valid two-wheeler driving license(motorcycle with gear license is for motorbikes and without gear license is for scooters)
- At the time of pick up the rider must have original driving license and Aadhaar card or passport.
- Rider needs to be 21 years of age or older and having valid driving license from their home country along with an international valid driving permit is necessary.
- At the time of pick up the rider must have valid visa and passport. We don’t provide vehicles on Learner’s License for rent out.
BOOKING & PAYMENTS
User/rider can use any of the following options below for the payment.
- Full payment should be made in advance before reserving and renting your selected bikes or scooters.
- Any delay in payment will not be accepted and the bikes will be handed over to you only after the complete amount is paid.
- The vehicle remains in your custody till the rental period and should be safely returned back after use.
- Daily bookings are for 24 hours
- Hourly bookings are accepted on week days with booking of minimum 8 hours.
User/rider can use any of the following options below for the payment.

- Gpay/Phonepay
- Paytm
- Debit Card
- Credit Card
SECURITY DEPOSIT
The company may ask you to keep refundable security deposit amount for some electric scooters and high-end bikes. The receipt voucher will be provided against security deposit and this security deposit will be returned to the rider at the time of drop off.

AVAILABILITY & EXTENSION OF BIKE BOOKING
All the bookings depend on the availability of the bikes. In case we are unable to fulfill your booking owing to unforscreen circumstances we will refund your full booking amount within an hour.
The extension of the booking depends on the availability of the bike and prevailing rates at that time.
LIMITED KILOMETERS IN KARNATAKA.
The particular vehicles have limited kilometers inside the state of Karnataka. The kilometers limitation depends on the CC and the size of the motorcycles. The additional kilometers will be charged as extra KM charges on each kilometer.
Riders should inform the Nile Rental executive if they plan to travel outside Karnataka. The company will assist with the procedure to obtain an all-India permit.

SPEED LIMIT / TRAFFIC VIOLATION PENALTIES
The maximum Speed limit is 60 KMPH for the electric scooters, 70 KMPH for the petrol scooters and 100 KMPH for motorcycle with gear. The rider/User shall strictly adhere to local traffic rules on speed limits. Penalty for over speeding would be charged to the user/rider. The rider must pay the traffic violations (challan) at the spot of traffic police checking or if challan comes after drop off in this case the hirer must pay the outstanding challan amount to the court or online traffic authorities.
All the traffic challan/penalties for violation of traffic rules are the sole responsibility of the rider/user and must be paid off to traffic authorities.

Late Return fee for the scooters would be Rs 200/hour and Rs 300/hour for bikes.

FUEL POLICY
The fuel charges are included only for electric scooters. For the petrol scooter/bikes are not included. At the time of pickup Motorcycle will be given in reserve condition and has to be returned in the same condition. The company will be providing sufficient fuel to reach the nearest fuel station.

HELMETS, EV CHARGER & KEY
Two helmets are complimentary from NILE rental Co. At the time of drop off the helmet must have a good condition and if we found any damages on helmets the charges will be paid by hires.
Lost normal helmet penalty charges: Rs 800

In case of major accident damages and hirer wants to repair or cover under insurance policy then hirer must pay the showroom service, repair and spare parts charges including stand by rental charges for that total days of used to repair the vehicles.
The representative of the company shall check the bike and its parts in order to ascertain any damage to body parts. Damage shall be defined as follows: Any damage which existed prior to the handover of the Motorbike and was agreed between the rental company and the hirer will not be chargeable. Tear in seat cover will result in charge towards replacement of seat cover.
Users ride at their own risk, and the Company is not responsible for any loss, injury or death resulting from vehicle hire.

PROHIBITED USES
The uses of a vehicle under the following conditions are prohibited: Our motorcycles cannot be used for sports rallies, stunts and any format of professional competitions and participation in public or private rallies.
Any hirer who is under the influence of alcohol, any drug or medication under the effects of which the operation of a vehicle is prohibited or not recommended. In carrying out of any crime or any other illegal activity.
The uses of a vehicle under the following conditions are prohibited: Our motorcycles cannot be used for sports rallies, stunts and any format of professional competitions and participation in public or private rallies.
Any hirer who is under the influence of alcohol, any drug or medication under the effects of which the operation of a vehicle is prohibited or not recommended. In carrying out of any crime or any other illegal activity.
- Customers are also not permitted to make any stunts such as bike wheeling, stoppie, burnout, etc using our rental vehicle. A penalty of Rs 5,000/- is payable by you if you are found to be involved in such misuse of our bikes.
- Customer can not use our vehicles for towing or pulling any other vehicle.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited in our vehicles.
- Customer is not allowed to ride our vehicle at flooded area.
- Triple ride is not allowed at any time during rent out.
- Minors will not be provided with any vehicle from the Company and the same is expected from the Users. The Company will not be responsible in case the vehicle is shared with a minor.
- Any sharp objects, weapons or illegal substances are prohibited from being carried on any Company’s rented vehicle.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
- Rider and pillion rider should always wear a helmet while riding.
- Scooters are not allowed for outstations.
- A motorcycle tank is not to be used to carry luggage.
- Home delivery requests are subject to availability of resources and are at the discretion of the company.
- Vehicles must be picked up and dropped off at the Company’s designated parking locations.
- Vehicles must be returned in the same condition as received.
- While vehicles are insured, Users may obtain separate insurance for themselves. The Company is not responsible for the User’s accidental expenses.
- All our vehicles have GPS tracking devices. We recommend that the User follow speed guidelines.
- In case the rider has left any belongings, the Company will try its best to return the same to the User; however, the Company cannot be held responsible for the loss of any items due to the negligence of the rider.
- In case of EV vehicles, the Company will provide a charger along with the vehicle; however, it’s the User’s responsibility to charge the vehicle according to the guidelines.
- Users are not allowed to make any modifications, internal or external, to the motorcycle.
- The user agrees to use the vehicle for personal use only.
- The delivered vehicles cannot be rejected after handover.
- Reckless riding is not allowed.
- User is not allowed to rent out the company’s vehicles to a third party.
- In the circumstance of the vehicle’s theft or disappearance during the rental period, the user should immediately report it to Nile Rental Co. Subsequently, the user must promptly initiate the filing of a First Information Report (FIR) at the nearest police station. Furthermore, the User shall be obliged to diligently adhere to all ensuing legal procedures until such time as the vehicle is either recovered or an insurance claim is deemed valid. In the regrettable event of the insurance claim being disclaimed, the User shall bear the payment equivalent to the fair market value of the missing vehicle.
MAINTENANCE
The customer is liable for checking level of the engine oils during a long trip and maintaining the vehicle while on road. Any mechanical failures should be reported immediately. Customers may be held responsible in case of a mechanical failure resulting due to negligence of the normal maintenance while on the long trip. The hirer who is renting the vehicle should take the complete responsibility of the vehicle and handle back the vehicle and helmet with the same condition to the company during drop off vehicle.

The hirer who is renting the vehicle should take the complete responsibility of the vehicle and handle back the vehicle and helmet with the same condition to the company during drop off vehicle.
Pick-Up & Drop-Off Policy
- The hirer should reach the pickup location 15 minutes earlier for documentation and paperwork.
- Customers will be provided with a fully serviced bike or scooter.
- Customers must properly check out the bike before going on the ride.
- Customers will be provided with photos of the vehicle taken from different angles. The photos will be shared through the customer’s WhatsApp or Instagram as proof of the vehicle’s condition.
- Customers must report to Nile Rental Co. immediately in case of any breakdown of the vehicle.
- Roadside assistance will be provided within the city limit range (within a 30-kilometer radius). Please note that no roadside assistance is applicable for vehicles driven beyond city limits (more than a 30-kilometer radius). Such vehicles are the full responsibility of the hirer to deliver to Nile Rental Co. (towing charges will have to be paid by the customer).
- The drop-off vehicle time must match the assigned booking drop-off time. The company will give you only 15 minutes of grace time; after that, late penalty charges will be applicable.
- Customers must drop the bike at the same location from where it was picked up.
- Customers cannot leave or abandon the bike without the permission of Nile Rental Co. or its authorized business partners. There is a fine of up to 10,000 Rupees, and legal action will be taken against the user.
- Customers are also not permitted to give the bike to anyone other than authorized riders during the rental period.
CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
70% of the total payment will be refunded if you paid the full 100% amount when booking the vehicle. Note: refund applicable before 2 Days earlier (70% of the booking amount will be refunded), prior 1 day notice is not acceptable, so there is no refund at all. No show of the customer at the time of pickup is not eligible to claim the booking refund amount.
